Full moon in Gemini ♊

Our last full moon of 2022 will be happening in the sign of Gemini on December 8th at 3:08 AEST.

Gemini is an air sign, it’s curious, imaginative, clever and changeable. This full moon will call you to focus on your own personal transformation and gain a new perspective by reading or listen to others. With the sun in Sagittarius you you have been called to open your horizons and expand you mind. The addition of the full moon in Gemini we must find the balance between wanting to know everything and really spending the time to learn.

It's time to speak our truth and communicate effectively with ourselves and to others. Gemini is ruled by mercury, which during this full moon has started it’s transit through Capricorn. It is here where our communication is more down to earth, clear and practical. We have an opportunity to revise our own story. Gemini is a naturally curious sign, allow this full moon to shine a light on the inner you. What have you been juggling that you no longer want to? This is a chance to review and modify our goals after a transformative couple of months.

This full moon also conjuncts Mars which is currently in retrograde in Gemini. During this time we have been called to review how we are motivated and inspired. This conjunction is a trigger point for the retrograde and we may become impatient and try to act fast on new goals however Mars is slowing us down. Try and avoid losing your cool or getting annoyed if things are not happening as you had hoped. Remember emotions do tend to run high and mars is associated with anger.

Full moons are about releasing what no longer serves our higher self, if something is making your anger levels rise during this time there is a great opportunity for forgiveness and letting go. Sit and think or write in your journal about what you are holding on to or what has triggered you unexpectedly during this full moon or mars retrograde. Anger should only be a stepping stone on your way back to peace and it can be heavy. Allow yourself to carry a lighter load as we enter the new year.

Happy Full Moon!
